Sound bath
You lie down and rest while a practitioner plays bowls around you, sometimes with gong and tingsha.
Best for: stress, sleep, overall calm

Singing bowls help the body shift out of alert and into rest. Book a session online, in the studio or at home, or start listening free in the Listening Room.
How it works
A struck bowl sends out a long, rich tone that you hear and also feel. Most people notice their breathing slow within minutes. Why the sound calms.
Steady, slowly fading tones give the mind one simple thing to follow, and the busy inner voice gets quieter.
When a bowl rests on or near the body, gentle vibration spreads through muscle and tissue, like a soft inner massage.
As breathing slows, the body moves from fight-or-flight towards rest and repair, where sleep and recovery work best.
Research on sound and vibration is still growing. We describe what clients commonly experience and never promise a cure. Sound healing works alongside your medical care.
